Established in 2018 Leanne Cairns Millinery is an Award Winning Millinery Brand. Leanne provides her clients with excellence in true millinery skills, design with a personal touch that is second to none, expert hand construction and great customer service.

Specialising in hats for weddings, formal occasions and the races.  Our designs have been worn at race events such as Royal Ascot, Cheltenham, The Grand National, The Scottish National and weddings all over the UK. We aim to have our brand far and wide.

Our designs are focussed on our clients needs, their personality and formed to suit them in a unique and personal way. Made using only the highest quality materials, and colour matched to perfection we strive to make each piece individual to the wearer and made to stand out from the crowd .

Where possible, clients are invited to Leanne’s studio in Dundonald, for an advisory consultation. This one-to-one service can also be delivered online via our booking buttons for 1-1 consultation call or quick chat, ensuring even clients who are further afield benefit from that personal interaction. Leanne then talks one-to-one with her clients about designing and then creating the perfect hat / fascinator to suit them. Reflections of their personality are key to produce a confident , composed and considered design.

This service allows the client to show us  their whole outfit where we can colour match, material match for trimmings and detailed work. Head measurements and photos will be taken, and then we will advise on which type of hat suits your physical and personality attributes. swatches can be ordered too for colour matching. See our Style and Sizing Guide for advice  for more information how we do this when the studio is not open.

We like to think that when they visit us they have a clearer idea of what they are going to get, but if not we can produce sketch designs or sample boards to help them visualise the final design.

You will also receive a personalised estimated quotation for your consideration before booking your make date in the diary. After consultation you will pay your deposit to secure your order and then the design and make process can begin.
