Getting Involved
Organise a hat-themed bake sale, lay on a hattastic fashion show, stage a brilliant pub-night quiz or competition, or invite guests to a spectacular Mad Hatter dinner-dance. How about getting the kids involved with an Easter bonnet parade?
Involve as many people as possible to maximise your fundraising and, above all, have great fun and make brilliant memories. Above are 3 ways you can take part and make a difference.
It is Brain Tumour Research Awareness Month in March . There are many ways of giving and raising money for charities and some have their chosen charities because they are doing good for something close to them. I , Leanne , choose every year to honour a commitment to fundraising for Brain Tumour Research. This is because I have a close connection through friends passing away or being seriously affected by the lack of any cure for their condition.
At Leanne Cairns Millinery we do this by taking part in Wear a Hat Day, which is when work colleagues , friends and family are all encouraged to wear a hat and fundraise on the 27th March 2020 this year, why don’t you visit their page and join in on the day too?
Brain tumour’s are indiscriminate; they can affect anyone at any age. What’s more, they kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. Please click the link below to find out the work they are doing and how you could help with raising some funds for them.

We have a JustGiving page all set up for donations if you wish to participate by giving a little, we would appreciate this.
